Product quality
Quality and reliability assurance of radionuclide products is a strategic aim in the activity of the company. To guarantee the stability of products quality in the interests of the users, holders and workers, the company maintains an ISO 9001:2000 compliant Quality Management System. The system is worked out, documented, incorporated, certified, kept in force and continuously improved basing on the requirements of the International Standard. In the company there were developed ISO 9001:2000 compliant documented procedures as well as the documents necessary to provide effective company planning and management of performed processes.

Assurance system of products quality covers planning, production, control of output radionuclide products, paper work and is performed on the basis of the developed Quality assurance program for radionuclide products.

Product quality control
Product quality control includes:

- radionuclide activity control performed in accordance with measurement procedures certified by an authorized organization;

- airtightness control under GOST R 51919-2002 (International Standard ISO 9978-92);

- surface radioactive contamination level control (to 0,2 kBq in accordance with ISO 9978-92);

- control of surface appearance, overall dimensions, marking, batch completeness, package.

Control of 100 % of the output products is performed.

Transportation
Sealed radioactive sources are packed into a transport packaging and transported observing all international requirements and safety norms (“Safe Transportation Rules for Radioactive Materials” (IAEA edition, 1996, №ST-1), IAEA №TS-R-1 (ST-1, Revised), 2000).

Producer’s guarantee
The producer guarantees reliability and safety of sources operating within the stated recommended working life in the application environment advised by the producer. Assessment of the recommended working life is confirmed with a test system or long-run operational experience of the particular source type.
